ZU
 The  lion-headed bird of Sumerian legend, which took the tablets on which thelaw had been inscribed from Enlil, and thereby threatened the very  existence  of  the gods, as  whoever  possessed  the tablets was invulnerable.  It  was  Ninurta, the son ofEnlil, who finally found and scaled the nest of Zu, and rescued the tablets.
