TESHUB The Hurrian storm god, Teshub overthrew his father, Kumarbi, but thedefeated god married the sea god's daughter and begot the titan Ullikummi, against which Teshub was powerless, and was forced to abdicate. He was, however, reinstated when Ea defeated the giant by cutting off its stonefeet.
