TEIRESIAS The seer who communicated to Odysseus the detailsconcerning his future, and whom he had to descend to Hades to see, at the advice of Circe. Teiresias further warned Odysseus not to touch the sacred cattle of the sungod on the island of Trinakia, a warning which the hero ignored, and for which he paiddearly.
