NZAMBI God of the Bacongo people of Angola, Nzambi is self-existent, almighty and all-knowing. He is a benevolent god, showing kindness even to the most destitute members of society. He is incapable of evil or wrongdoing, is just and merciful, the ruler and sustainer of the universe.
