MOMOS Perhaps one of the most spiteful deities in Greek mythology, Momos' function was to laugh and jeer bitterly at the actions of gods and men, even unto complaining of the creation by Prometheus of a man, that there was no window in the man's breast, through which to see his thoughts. Momos died of terminal annoyance, unable to find anything to jeer or mock Aphrodite about.
