LE-EYO
The great ancestor of the Maasai, Le-eyolearned that if a man was to die, he should say when discarding the body, "Man, die, andcome back again;moon, die, and remain away." However, when a child died, and hetried to use this charm, Le-Eyo got the phrase mixed up, and said it backwards. Thus when his own child died, he found that he could not resurrect him, nor could anyoneafter that.
