AEAKOS One of the three heroes who assisted Hadesand Persephone in the Underworld in judging the souls of the dead. Aeakos, along with his two compatriots, had distinguished his life previously by his great sense of wisdom and justice, and it was he who held the keys to the lower region of Hades, being the gate keeper of that region.
