Walter B. Jones (born February 10, 1943) is an American politician; a Republican, he currently represents North Carolina's 3rd Congressional District (see ) in the United States House of Representatives. Born in Farmville, North Carolina his father was Walter B. Jones, Sr., a Democratic Party congressman from the neighboring 1st District. The son has long called himself simply "Walter Jones," but the "Jr." still appears in the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress.
