Tom Barman (born January 1, 1972) is a Belgian film director and musician. Barman studied at the film school of St.-Lucas (Brussels) but didn't finish his studies because of his other passion: music. He preferred to begin a music career with his rock band dEUS formed in the early nineties. But he didn't throw away his experience with film because he directed his own music videos for dEUS and made even a short film in 1996: Turnpike. He also directed videos for other Belgian musicians including Axelle Red and Hooverphonic among others. In the summer of 2002, shooting started in Antwerp for his first film Any Way the Wind Blows that came out in Belgian cinemas in the summer of 2003. Tom Barman is now again playing with dEUS, and has stated that he would like to begin work on his second full-length film in 2006, after the band's announced world tour.
