Tiny Thompson (May 31, 1905 in Sandon, British Columbia - February 9, 1981) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goalie who played for the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings. Tiny was actually one of the bigger goalies of his era. He stood 5-11 and weighed 175 pounds. Tiny won the Vezina Trophy on four occasions through his career. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1959.
