Sweeney Schriner (November 30, 1911 in Saratov, Russia - July 4, 1990) was a Russian ice hockey forward who played for the New York Americans and Toronto Maple Leafs. Sweeney was the NHL scoring leader in 1936 and 1937, and was named Rookie of the Year in 1935. He won 2 Stanley Cups with Toronto in 1942 and 1945. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1962.
