Steve Burton (born Jack Stephen Burton on 28 June 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is an American actor. Having graduated from Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California, he got his break as a surfer boy on the sitcom Out of This World in 1987.
He is best known for his roles on the soap operas Days of Our Lives as Harris Michaels, a love interest for Charlotte Ross' character Eve Donovan (1988) as well as General Hospital, where he's played Jason Quatermaine/Morgan from 1991 to 2000 and from 2002 to the present.
He also appeared in the science fiction miniseries Taken and in the movie The Last Castle (2001) with Robert Redford and James Gandolfini. He is the voice of Cloud Strife in the game Kingdom Hearts and its sequel,Kingdom Hearts II. He will reprise the role in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
Steve married Sheree Gustin on January 16, 1999. They had their first child, a daughter named Makena Grace on September 5th, 2003. Their second child, a son named Jack Marshall, was born on March 26th, 2006.
He went to the same high school as Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage, and Lenny Kravitz. He previously dated actress Tara Reid.
