Roland Orzabal Roland Orzabal, full name Roland Jaime Orzabal de la Quintana, (born in Portsmouth August 22, 1961) is the co-founder of the famous British band Tears for Fears. His mother is English; his father is from Paris, and of Argentinean and Basque parents. Orzabal issued his first proper debut album Tomcats Screaming Outside on 2 April 2001 (UK).
He wrote the song Mad World which appears on the CD Donnie Darko - Music from the Original Motion Picture Score.
