Mike Kreidler (born 28 September 1943) is an American politician, currently serves as the Washington Insurance Commissioner. He is a Democrat. Kreidler was a long-time legislator, serving 16 years in the Washington Legislature before being elected to the United States Congress as a Representative from the newly formed Ninth Congressional District of Washington in 1992. He was defeated by Republican Randy Tate in 1994. In 2000, Kreidler ran for Insurance Commissioner. His re-election campaign in 2004 was successful.
