Mike Comrie (born 11 September 1980, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) is a centre in the National Hockey League. He was drafted in the third round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, by his hometown Edmonton Oilers. Following a lengthy holdout, attributed to personal differences with Oilers GM Kevin Lowe, Comrie was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Jeff Woywitka and two draft choices. Comrie played only 21 games for Philadelphia before being traded to the Phoenix Coyotes for a package including goaltender Sean Burke.
