Michael Biehn (born Tuesday, July 31, 1956 in Anniston, Alabama) is an American actor known for his roles in The Terminator (1984), Aliens (1986), The Abyss (1989), Tombstone (1993), and The Rock (1996). He also played Officer Randall Buttman on the Emmy-Award winning television series, Hill Street Blues. Most believe Biehn to be a high caliber actor, and wonder why he has not had more movie roles, but he has said that he would rather focus on spending time with his wife, Gina, and their four sons, than to be away on location for long periods of time.
Recently, however, Biehn has taken on more acting jobs, from big budget movies such as The Art of War and Clockstoppers to video games like Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and independent movies, such as Havoc. He also starred in the NBC TV series Hawaii (2004), but the show was subsequently cancelled due to low ratings.
A picture of him as Kyle Reese in the movie The Terminator was reproduced as the cover-art of the 1987 video game Metal Gear as Biehn (who was then at the peak of his fame), was considered to have been the ideal actor to have played Metal Gear's protagonist Solid Snake, had Metal Gear been turned into an action movie.
