Meshach Taylor (born April 11, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as Anthony Bouvier on the sitcom Designing Women. He also had a major role on the sitcom Dave's World, playing Sheldon Baylor.
He graduated from Florida A & M University in 1993. He married Bianca Ferguson in 1983 and has 3 children.
Movies he has appeared in include Damien: Omen II, One More Saturday Night, The Haircut, Mannequin, Mannequin 2: On the Move, Ultra Warrior, Class Act, Jacks or Better, and Friends and Family.
Taylor currently has a recurring role on Nickelodeon's sitcom, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.
