Mario Diaz-Balart (born September 25, 1961) is an American politician. Since 2003 he has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the 25th District of Florida (map). He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, educated at the University of South Florida, and was a businessman and member of the Florida House of Representatives before entering the House.
He is the brother of Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart and the son of exiled Cuban politician Rafael Diaz-Balart, and a former nephew by marriage of Fidel Castro.
