Kevin McDonald (born May 16, 1961 in Montreal) is a Canadian comedian and actor, best known as a member of the Canadian sketch comedy group Kids in the Hall. Characters played by Kevin on the show include Simon and the King of Empty Promises. During his youth he had a weight problem, a fact which is mocked and attested to in several Kids in the Hall sketches and monologues. He was also often ribbed in sketches during the show's run, and was the subject of a running gag on the show that he was the least popular Kid in the Hall. Since the show's end in 1994, he has played many small roles in films including National Lampoon's Senior Trip and Agent Pleakley the cross-dressing alien in Lilo & Stitch, a role which has continued into two direct-to-video movies and Lilo & Stitch: The Series. On television, he has appeared on That '70s Show, Seinfeld, Friends, NewsRadio, Arrested Development, and Corner Gas, and has done voice work for various animated series. Kevin's most major voice role was that of Almighty Tallest Purple on the Nickelodeon cartoon Invader Zim. He also appeared on the short-lived Clerks animated series and guest-starred on The Angry Beavers (also on Nick) as an insane zookeeper who conversed with a ballpoint pen. He also played an imaginary friend named Ivan in the episode Sight For Sore Eyes on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
