Kenny Lofton (born May 31, 1967 in East Chicago, Indiana) is a Major League Baseball center fielder who plays with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Previously, Lofton played for the Houston Astros (1991), Cleveland Indians (1992-96, 1998-2001), Atlanta Braves (1997), Chicago White Sox (2002), San Francisco Giants (2002), Pittsburgh Pirates (2003), Chicago Cubs (2003), New York Yankees (2004), and Philadelphia Phillies (2005). He bats and throws left-handed. Lofton was one of the most dominant players of the 1990's and appeared in six all-star games. Through the 2005 season, Lofton has been a .299 hitter with 120 home runs and 702 RBI in 1838 games. In 81 postseason games he hit .250 with six home runs and 28 RBI. His 567 stolen bases ranks him first among active players and 23rd in the all-time list.
