Kelly Marie (born Jacqueline McKinnon on October 16, 1957 in Paisley, Scotland) was a British disco singer. She had several hits internationally during the late 1970s, including Make Love to Me (1978). Her biggest hit by far was Feels Like I'm In Love (1980). That song was written by Ray Dorset, originally as a potential song for Elvis Presley who died before it could be given to him.
Kelly Marie made the most of the opportunity and enjoyed the third biggest single of 1980 in the UK.
Her other UK hit singles were Loving Just For Fun, Hot Love and Love Trial - the latter only made it to number 51 in 1981.
A little side note in connection with the song, "Don't Stop": The lyrics are often written as "Don't stop, 'PUT UP A FIGHT'", whereas they should read, "Don't stop, 'PUT OUT MY FIRE'".
