Kathryn Grant Kathryn Crosby (born November 25, 1933 in Houston, Texas as Olive Kathryn Grandstaff) is an American actress and singer who performed her most memorable roles under her birth-name Kathryn Grant. She became Bing Crosby's second wife (despite being 30 years his junior), and was required to convert her name for the marriage. She largely retired after their 1957 marriage, but has taken on a few roles since his death in 1977. She is the mother of 3, including actress Mary Frances Crosby.
