Juliet Mills (born Juliet Maryon Mills on November 21, 1941) is a British character actress, most famous for her roles on shows such as Nanny and the Professor and Passions. In both series, she plays characters who possess magical powers, but her character in the former series was presented as friendly and magical while the latter is a witch who wishes harm on many people. She also played in Avanti!, a notable movie directed by Billy Wilder.
She is the daughter of the late actor Sir John Mills, and the late playwright Mary Hayley Bell, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. She is the older sister of actress Hayley Mills and of director Jonathan Mills.
Juliet married actor Maxwell Caulfield, who is 18 years her junior, in 1980. She has a daughter by a previous marriage.
She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Single Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Drama Special in QB VII. She has received Golden Globe nominations in 1971 and 1973.
Mills was an occasional guest on the game show Match Game.
In 2005, it was announced that Mills was nominated for her first Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress".
