Josh Reed (born May 1, 1980 in Rayne, Louisiana) is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills. He was a 2nd round draft choice in the 2002 NFL Draft out of LSU. At LSU, he was awared the Biletnikoff Award for the best wide receiver in college football. While at LSU, Josh was one of the most productive receivers in SEC history. In only two years as a wide receiver (his freshman year he played running back for most of the season and he declared for the NFL draft after his junior season) he rewrote the SEC record books. He holds the SEC record for receiving yardage in a game (293 - LSU vs. Alabama 2001) and season (1,740-LSU 2001). He also held the career receiving yardage record with 3001 yards until 2002 when this record was broken by a University of Georgia receiver (who played receiver a full 4 years. Josh did it in 2 years.) He also holds the SEC season record for receiving yardage per game (145.0 in 2001) and is second on the career receiving yardage per game list.
