Joseph Mazzello is an American film actor born on September 21, 1983. He grew up in Rhinebeck, New York. His most notable roles were "Tim" in the 1993 film Jurassic Park, and "Dexter" in the 1995 cult classic, The Cure. He is sometimes credited as "Joe". His height is 5' 8" (1.73 m). Joseph is of Irish/Italian descent and is Catholic. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2005. He has one older sister and a younger brother, John, who has also appeared in a few films. Joseph will be making his directorial debut with the film, "Matters of Life and Death" in which he will also be starring; the cast includes David Strathairn, Daniel Gillies and Rachael Leigh Cook. He'll also be starring in "The Sensation of Sight"; both films are due out in 2006.
Joseph is an alumnus of Our Lady of Lourdes High School.
