Joseph M. McDade (born September 29, 1931) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Joseph McDade was born in Scranton, PA. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1953. He served clerkship in the office of Chief Federal Judge John W. Murphy, Middle District of Pennsylvania. He engaged in the general practice of law in 1957. Jospeh McDade was the city solicitor of the city of Scranton in 1962.
He was elected to congress as a Republican in 1962. He retired from office in 1999.
