Jon L. Christensen (Born 1963) is a Nebraska Republican politician. He was born in St. Paul, Nebraska on February 20, 1963 and graduated from St. Paul High School , Midland Lutheran College (1985), and South Texas College of Law (1989). He was admitted to the bar in Nebraska in 1992. He went on to work in many business settings, including vice president of COMREP, Inc; marketing director for Connecticut Mutual Insurance Company; an insurance executive and helped form the Aquila Group, Inc.
He was elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fourth and One Hundred Fifth United States Congresses serving from January 3, 1995 to January 3, 1999. In 1999 he decided to run instead for Governor of Nebraska but failed to get the Republican party nomination.
