John Selby Spence (February 29, 1788 - October 24, 1840) was an American politician. He served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives (1823-1825, 1831-1833) from the eighth district of the state of Maryland, and as a U.S. Senator from Maryland from 1836 until his death. He was also a member of the Maryland House of Delegates and Maryland State Senate.
