George Dolenz (5 January 1908 - 8 February 1963) was an Italian-born Slovenian film actor. He appeared in the 1956 ITC Entertainment series The Count of Monte Cristo as the title character.
After appearing in small parts in minor movies, he became leading man under contract to RKO Pictures under Howard Hughes, but soon returned to smaller parts for other studios.
He was married to actress Janelle Johnson Dolenz and they had two children, Coco Dolenz and the actor Micky Dolenz.
Born Jure Dolenc in Trieste, he died of a heart attack in 1963.
