Gedeon Burkhard (born July 3, 1969 in Munich, Germany) is a German film and television actor, famous for his role in the Kommissar Rex series (1998-2001). On the famous Austrian TV show "Kommissar Rex", Gedeon plays the role of the athletic Alex Brandtner, Richard Moser's successor. After moving into Moser's old apartment he begins his new life journey with Rex (Reginald von Ravenhorst) and embarks on a new crime fighting career in the KriminalPolizei. Gedeons contract with Kommissar Rex ended in 2001 and he left the show. He can be seen in the new movie Die Goldene Zeiten.
Gedeon was born in 1969 and his film career started in 1979 in BLutte und Ehre. he has a daughter that was born in 2004. he currently resides in Vienna and often goes to the U4 (Diskoklub) and a famous coffee house called Cafe Hawelka. He is the son of Famous Actress Elisabeth von Molo
