Francis Malbone (March 20, 1759-June 4, 1809) was an American merchant from Newport, Rhode Island. He represented Rhode Island in the U.S. House from 1793 until 1797 and served briefly in the United States Senate in 1809. Malbone entered the U.S. Senate in March of 1809 but served only three months. He died on the steps of the Capital building in Washington, D.C. and is buried in the Congressional Cemetery there.
