Ernie Russell (October 21, 1883 in Montreal, Quebec - February 23, 1963) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played for the Montreal AAA and Montreal Wanderers. Ernie was the offensive star of the Wanderers that won the Stanley Cup on six occations. He is also known for the fact he scored a hat-trick in five consecutive games. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1965.
