Dylan McDermott (born Mark McDermott on 26th October, 1961) is an American actor, most famous for his role as lawyer and law firm head Bobby Donnell on the former TV legal drama The Practice. He attended acting school at the Jesuit-run Fordham University and got his first break as an actor in the film In the Line of Fire. Through his connection with Clint Eastwood, McDermott was able to land his first major gig as The Practice.
People magazine named McDermott one of the 50 most beautiful people in 1998.
He is often confused with actor Dermot Mulroney.
