Doris Fisher (May 2, 1915 - January 15, 2003) was a United States singer and songwriter. She was born in New York City, the daughter of noted songwriter Fred Fisher.
She sang professionally with Big Bands, on the radio, with the Eddie Duchin Orchestra and led the group "Penny Wise and Her Wise Guys".
Doris Fisher's hit compositions included "You Always Hurt the One You Love", "Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall", and "Put the Blame on Mame". She also collaborated with Slim Gaillard on "Tutti Frutti".
She retired from the music business in 1949 to raise a family in Detroit, Michigan. Doris Fisher died in Los Angeles, California.
