David Jenkins Ward (September 17, 1871 - February 18, 1961), a democrat, was a U.S. Congressman. He was elected in a special election to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of T. Alan Goldsborough, and represented the 1st Congressional district of Maryland from June 8, 1939 to January 3, 1945. He also served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1915-1917, and in the Maryland State Senate from 1926-1934 and from 1938-1939.
