Adam Huntsman as an American politician that represented Tennessee's twelfth district in the United States House of Representatives. He was born in Charlotte County, Virginia on February 11, 1786. He moved to Jackson, Tennessee and was elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-fourth Congress, which lasted from March 4, 1835 to March 3, 1837. He was an unsuccessful candidate for re-election in 1836 to the Twenty-fifth Congress. He died on August 23, 1849.
