Adam Archuleta (born November 27, 1977 in Rock Springs, Wyoming) is an American Football safety currently playing for the Washington Redskins of the NFL. He spent his first five years in St. Louis, where he excelled in the cover-2 base defense. Injuries kept his pass protection on the weak side, but he still managed to do a good job. He was drafted in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft as the 20th pick overall, the second of St. Louis's three first-round picks.
He is well known for his workouts and his particular method of lifting weights. He uses a method of lifting developed by Jay Schroeder, the founder of Evo-Sport.
A former walk-on linebacker at Arizona State University and an alumnus of Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona, Archuleta was converted to strong safety for the NFL.
